I’m thrilled to introduce the next evolution of the Amplify Accelerator I launched last year.

As we continue moving through the series of events that are reshaping our world, there is a need for new platforms to help support HR and people leaders working hard to meet these moments.

HR leaders today are under immense pressure to deliver results for the business, navigate new social and business climates, and build adaptable people programs built for these dynamic times.

We’re asked to do more with less while carrying the heavy burdens of the past several years. Navigating these times requires new tools to help us learn, connect with resources in real-time, and build our global networks of peers who can support our work.

The Amplify Academy was built from the ground up to help people leaders efficiently and effectively connect with diverse learning needs for today and tomorrow.

It’s designed to connect you with highly curated resources, exclusive content, courses, and a community designed to help people leaders effectively support your organization - and each other.

The Amplify Academy consists of three components designed to accelerate your capabilities and impact as a people practitioner:

Amplify Academy Learning Lab - An AI learning platform including a range of courses, resources, templates, presentations, reports, and more to support the learning needs of today’s HR and people practitioners.
Amplify Academy Community - A Slack community designed to help you build your network equity and connect, collaborate, and grow with peers around the world.
Amplify Academy Cohorts - Cohorts are four-week immersive peer-learning programs designed to help people leaders build the skills and network needed to build progressive people teams.

Learn From World-Class People Leaders

When I launched the Amplify Accelerator Cohorts in 2021 I was excited to connect the students with amazing experienced people executives from my network. Leaders who’ve been at the vanguard of HR’s evolution. I’m so excited to bring some of those rich lessons into the new Academy Learning Lab to scale their mentoring and expertise.

Amplify Academy Learning Lab

Creation. Curation. Community.

The foundation of the new Amplify Academy is the Learning Lab. The Amplify Learning Lab is a new learning platform built from the ground up to help modern people operators access the tools, resources, and education you need to navigate the new world of work.

The Amplify Learning Lab contains a range of content types and modalities categorized by length to help you plan your learning including short-form (snackable - under 10 minutes) and long-form (more than 10 minutes).

Courses (long-form) Courses cover a range of topics including a Guide for First-Time Heads of People and other topics including Kim Scott’s Radical Candor, Storytelling, Business Acumen, and more.
Cohort Guest Instructor Presentations (long-form): Presentations from world-class people leaders including Katie Burke, AJ Thomas, Pat Wadors, and many more.
Learning Stacks (long-form): Highly-curated collections of content organized around specific topics.
Redefining HR Leadership Bytes (short-form): 5-minute learning clips featuring guests of the Redefining HR podcast.
Resources (short-form): Highly curated external articles, resources, templates, reports, benchmarks, and more.

The Amplify Academy Learning Lab is being built on Sana Labs, an AI-driven learning platform that uses machine learning to personalize learning resources for each individual learner. The more content and courses you consume, the better the Amplify Academy will understand your unique learning needs and preferences and suggest content tailored to you.

A Community-First Approach to Online Learning

Active learning, not passive watching

Cohorts aren't lectures. Lars won’t just talk to you, he’ll engage the class, facilitate breakout discussions, and leave plenty of time for Q&A. Think interactive seminar vs a massive lecture hall.

Learn with a cohort of peers

This course is designed to facilitate peer learning and interaction through Zoom breakout groups, an engaged Slack community, and group projects.

Tactics, templates, and case studies

Don't expect just theory and principles. We learn best by applying what we learned to our day-to-day work. Expect to walk away from each week with the next steps to improve your effectiveness as a people leader.

Alumni network and continued learning beyond the course

The course's end is just the beginning. Your Grow membership includes one free year of access to the Amplify Academy Slack community.

I’m so thrilled to launch these new platforms and can’t wait for you to see them. I wanted to give a special thanks to Balbina Knight, Noah Warder, Ciara Lakhani, AJ Thomas, and all the cohort alumni and guest instructors for helping take this Academy from concept to reality.

I’m also grateful to all of you who’ve weighed in on LinkedIn and in-person to help steer and shape the Learning Lab content. This will be an agile learning platform with new content being added monthly - shaped largely by your feedback and responding to real-time events that impact HR and people ops.
