In other news, unless you were on an internet detox over the weekend you saw the dramatic story of OpenAI’s board firing of Sam Altman, the shit storm that was stirred over the next 72 hours. The winner is clearly Microsoft who scooped up Sam and his cofounder Greg Brockman, and likely many more soon-to-be former OpenAI employees.

X was flooded with messages like the one below from employees as a form of protest against the board. What does this mean for the future of GPTs and OpenAI? Not even ChatGPT knows.

A tweet from OpenAI's Mira Murati stating OpenAI is nothing without its people, hearted by former CEO Sam Altman.

For all our Amplify Briefing readers in the U.S. celebrating Thanksgiving this weekend, I hope you have much to be thankful for and spend the holiday with those who are important to you. Whether your birth family, friends, or chosen family - may you find happiness and joy.
